WHAT IS THE AYSO United New Year's Cup?
The AYSO United New Year's Cup is a 3v3 indoor tournament for youth players ages 9u - 19u. The tournament is played at the AYSO United indoor training facility at 2500 16th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.
TOURNAMENT DATES/COST
- The 2023 AYSO United New Year's Cup will be held December 30-31, 2023
- 2023 Tournament Schedules will be released: on Friday, December 22, 2023.
- $150.00 per team (3 games guaranteed)
- Boys play on December 30, Girls on December 31 starting at 8am on both days

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
- 3v3 – No goal keepers
- Maximum roster of 5 players
- 3 games guaranteed for all divisions
- Game length – 25 minutes (no half time)
- Substitution Policy – “No sub on the fly” must obtain referee permission to enter field of play
- 3x5 Bownet goals are used
- Cleats can be worn on the turf

- Given the fact that each age division will play all of its games in only one day, we do not have the flexibility to handle scheduling requests. This includes coaches who want to coach multiple teams in the same age division.
YOUTH TEAM CHECK-IN PROCEDURE
- Youth teams are required to submit an event roster at check-in prior to their first game. Rosters are frozen once your first game starts.

- Team managers must also present valid youth player passes for each player on their roster.
- We ask that teams check-in at least 30 minutes prior to their first game. The check-in location will be to the left of the entry way of the building.
PARKING AND SPECTATORS
- There is no permanent seating in the facility by the fields, we will have tables and chairs in the entry area (no chairs are allowed in the field area.
- The AYSO United facility is located at 2500 16th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404
- Parking available in front and to the side of the building
- Enter in the front right corner of the building only
REFUNDS
- In the event of severe winter weather, our tournament officials may need to cancel games. If all of the games are cancelled for your team, we will issue a full refund.
- In some cases, weather conditions may force us to modify the game schedule and possibly cut a game from your team’s schedule.
